The researcher visited pediatric wards and clinics at various times, and a convenience sampling method was employed based on inclusion criteria. When available, parents and adolescents were asked to complete a demographic/disease information questionnaire and the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory Diabetes Module. Adolescent quality of life showed no significant correlation with sex, age, illness duration, residency, or educational level, but was negatively correlated with weight (r=-0.163, p=0.025). Parental socioeconomic level was not correlated with quality of life (F=0.43, p=0.43), whereas employment status was (unemployed 65.40&amp;plusmn;4.60 vs. employed 67.68&amp;plusmn;5.02; t=2.57, p=0.011) and parental educational level also correlated with quality of life (p=0.066).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
