			<abstract>
			Aims:&#160;The general health of nurses is always at risk due to difficult working conditions. Although exercise interventions, especially aerobic exercise, may improve the general health of nurses, no study has been found in this area so far. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the impact of aerobic exercise on the general health of nurses.
Materials &#38; Methods:&#160;This interventional study was carried out on 60 female nurses working in hospitals affiliated with Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in 2017. Nurses were selected by the available sampling method and assigned to control and intervention groups by block randomization. Data were selected by General health and demographic questionnaires. The intervention group practiced three 1-hour sessions per week for eight weeks in the gym according to the exercise program, while the control group did not receive any intervention. The general health questionnaire was assessed in two groups before, immediately, and two months after the intervention. Data were analyzed using SPSS 19 software through T, chi-square tests, and repeated measures analysis of variance.
Findings: The mean&#177;SD age of participants was 33.0&#177;2.7 years. The effect of the group was significant (p=0.001) and showed an improvement in the general health of nurses participating in the intervention group after the intervention compared to the control group (p=0.02). The effect of time was also significant because the mean general health of participants changed significantly over time in both control and intervention groups (p&#60;0.001). However, time-group interaction was not significant (p&#62;0.05).
Conclusion:&#160;Aerobic exercise in nurses improves general health in the initial period after the intervention.

			<abstract>
			Aims: Identification and management of factors affecting fetal development can be a valuable contribution to promoting infant survival, growth, and development. This study investigated the association between parental factors and newborns&#39; anthropometric indices.
Materials &#38; Methods: This cross-sectional study was based on secondary data analysis of pediatric and pregnancy surveillance systems in which 1500 children below the age of 2 years were selected by proportional sampling method. The outcome indexes in this study included birth weight, height, and head circumference. Data analysis conducted by SPSS 16 using the generalized linear model approach with logit link function and binomial probability distribution were used in this study.
Findings: The prevalence of low-birth-weight, short stature, and small birth head circumference were estimated to be 3.3%, 4.2%, and 4.4%, respectively. In the generalized linear model with logit link function, predictor variables of birth weight included occupation, a paternal education level (p&#60;0.05), education level, BMI, and pregnancy rates of the mother (p&#60;0.05). The predictor variables of birth height were paternal occupation, baby gender, and maternal body mass index (p&#60;0.05).
Conclusion: The need to pay attention to parent-related intervening factors such as BMI and birth rank in the family empowerment programs to improve birth indicators is suggested.

			<abstract>
			Aims: Clinical communication is an essential skill for dental students. One of the best methods for evaluating medical students&#39; achievement and their clinical skills is the Objective Structured Clinical Examination. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical communication skills of dental students of Yasuj University of Medical Sciences based on the Objective Structured Clinical Examination.
Instrument &#38; Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 51 students of the School of Dentistry of Yasuj University of Medical Sciences in 2019. Students of the general dental course were selected by the census sampling method. Students were invited through an announcement. The students&#39; clinical communication skills were evaluated using Objective Structured Clinical Examination that in each station were one standardized patient. Students&#39; clinical communication skills were evaluated by four assessors, according to a checklist whose validity had been verified. Collected data entered SPSS software version 24 and analyzed using Pearson correlation and independent t-test.
Findings: The mean score and standard deviation of the clinical communication skills of dental students were 1.97&#177;0.38, which indicates that the clinical communication skills of students are at a medium level. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between clinical communication skills and gender (p&#8804;0.05), and women have better patient-centered skills. The results also showed that communication skills were not associated with average academic grades (p&#62;0.05).
Conclusion: Students&#39; clinical communication skills are not at the desired level.

			<abstract>
			Aims: This study aimed to determine the acupressure effect on anxiety in infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic insemination treatments.
Materials &#38; Methods: The present study is a randomized controlled trial of infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic insemination treatment. It was performed at Milad in vitro Fertilization Center, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, from September 2015 to August 2016. The sample size was 144 participants. The participants were randomly divided into three groups of real acupressure, sham acupressure, and control using a Fleiss randomization table. Acupressure points were P6 and H7 on the participant&#8217;s hands. Beck Anxiety Inventory was used for assessing anxiety and a demographic questionnaire. Data were analyzed through paired samples t-test, Chi-square test, Fisher exact, One-way analysis of variance, Kruskal Wallis test, General Linear Model, and Multinomial logistic by SPSS 16.
Findings: The mean age of women was 30.84&#177;5.34. There was a significant difference in anxiety reduction rate in all groups (p&#60;0.001). 
Conclusion: The acupressure intervention at the points of P6 and H7 on the participant&#8217;s hands reduces anxiety. Therefore, due to the effect of anxiety on the pregnancy rate in women undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic insemination, acupressure in these women is recommended.

			<abstract>
			Aims: Diabetes is a common disease manageable by self-care behaviors. Although studies have identified facilitators such as support, self-efficacy, and inhibitors such as insufficient information about diabetes and inadequate incentive for self-care behaviors, there has been no comprehensive qualitative study of Iranian diabetic patients and their self-care behaviors. This study aimed to determine the facilitators and inhibiting factors in type 2 diabetic patients&#8217; self-care behavior.
Participants &#38; Methods: Using a qualitative content analysis approach, 19 Iranian patients with type 2 diabetes between 30-60 years were purposefully selected. Semi-structured interviews helped collect data until saturation was reached after 25 interviews. Data were analyzed using the content analysis method.
Findings: Researchers found two main themes indicating facilitators and inhibitors of self-care behavior and derived ten sub-themes. Perceived facilitators to self-care behaviors were diabetes as a life-threatening disease, self-control, self-efficacy in self-care, and support for self-care. Self-care inhibitors were personal inefficiencies, the others&#8217; beliefs about diabetes treatment, lack of support, perceived threat to self-identity for being a diabetic, arbitrary control, and perceived helplessness.
Conclusion: Self-care behaviors among Iranian patients with type 2 diabetes are affected by multiple factors such as personal beliefs and attitudes, family and community support, and self-efficacy.

			<abstract>
			Aims: This study aimed to determine the antifungal susceptibility profile of Candida spp. with different sources.
Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in the Department of Medical Mycology of Yasuj, Iran, from 2018 to 2019. Seventy-six Candida isolates recovered from different samples were used for antifungal profiles. Candida spp. isolates were identified at the species level based on molecular methods. The antifungal susceptibility tests with fluconazole, voriconazole, itraconazole, clotrimazole, amphotericin B, nystatin, and caspofungin were assessed according to the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute broth microdilution method.
Findings: Our study showed that all isolates species were sensitive to antifungal drugs except for 3 (3.9%) isolates resistant to fluconazole. Among the In vitro activity of triazoles against all isolates tested, voriconazole had the lowest minimum inhibitory concentration ranges of 0.5-0.015&#181;g/ml. According to the minimum inhibitory concentration of 50%, amphotericin B (0.25&#956;g/ml) and nystatin (0.0625&#956;g/ml) was the most active polyenes against other Candida species.
Conclusion: Generally, the clinical correlation between the minimum inhibitory concentration value of different antifungals and different Candida spp. isolates are necessary because the resistance profile of Candida spp. is varied and dependent on the different variables.

			<abstract>
			Aims: Exercise is a unique therapeutic strategy for improving metabolic disorders and risk factors for diabetes and may directly enhance nerve regeneration and function. This study was conducted to determine the effect of proprioception practice on lower extremity proprioception in patients with diabetic neuropathy.
Materials &#38; Methods: This study was an interventional and clinical trial. The population of this study was all patients with diabetic neuropathy who were referred to Abol Abbas and Kourosh clinics in Isfahan in 2020. The sample size in each of the two control groups and proprioceptive exercises group were considered 23 people. Data collection tools included the Michigan Neuropathy Assessment Tool, the Toronto Clinical Rating System, and the goniometer. The proprioceptive exercise was performed for six weeks. Forty-eight hours after the interventions, the goniometer test was performed again. Chi-square, Independent t-test, and Mann-Whitney tests compared the groups using SPSS 21 software.
Findings: After the intervention, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups of proprioception practice with the control group (p&#60;0.0001). Before and after proprioceptive exercises, there was a statistically significant difference in the proprioceptive exercises group (p&#60;0001). However, before and after the proprioceptive exercises, there was no statistically significant difference in the control group (p&#62;0.05).
Conclusion: proprioceptive exercises could improve the sense of depth in patients with diabetic neuropathy.

			<abstract>
			Aims: Due to the widespread use of Allium sativum or garlic for food and medical purposes as well as the diuretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic effects of garlic and its extract in various diseases, this study aimed to compare the effect of aqueous extract of Allium sativum and tamsulosin on reducing pain and expulsion of kidney and ureter stones in adult patients.
Materials &#38; Methods: In this clinical trial study, 80 patients older than 18 with kidney and ureteral stones less than 10mm were randomly assigned to one of the two groups, including tamsulosin as a control group and intervention group (Allium sativum or garlic). A tamsulosin capsule was administered one capsule every night for two weeks in the first group. In the second group, Allium sativum was prescribed in a dose of 900 mg per day in tree-divided capsules with a glass of water for two weeks. Two weeks later, patients were visited, KUB or sonography was performed, and the amount of stone change and the presence of residual stones were measured and recorded. The patient&#39;s pain level was checked using a visual analog scale, and data were collected during treatment and at the end of the study. All data were analyzed using SPSS software version 21.
Findings: The mean age of patients in the control and intervention groups were 48.44&#177;14.65 and 44.18&#177;12.90 years, respectively (p=0.82). The size of stones after treatment in the intervention and control groups were 8.05&#177;3.79 and 6.76&#177;2.51mm, respectively (p=0.142). The mean pain intensity based on visual pain criteria before treatment was not significantly different in the two groups (p=0.438). Still, after treatment, the pain level in the intervention group compared to the control group significantly decreased (p=0.001).
Conclusion: The results showed that the size and expulsion of stones treatment were not significantly different between the two groups. Still, the severity of pain in the Allium sativum group was significantly reduced compared to the control group. It can be used as an adjunct therapy to control pain and help the passage of stones.
